You can't change people.

It easy to fall into the ideal version of people instead of existing with the "real" version of them. The fantasy we create based upon the ideal of people is pleasant but creates a false reality. We often want people to conform to the false reality but forget that we can't change people. People change for what's best for them and we can't interfere in their process. Review your expectations and standards of others to ensure they're based upon the "real" not "ideal" version of people.
